Katie Machaiek

Katie Machaiek is originally from Owls Head, Maine and now resides in Los Angeles, California.

 

Aside from a B.A. in Visual Arts from Emerson College, Katie also attended Cinema Makeup School, where she completed the Master Makeup Program and consistently placed high in school competitions.

 

She is now freelancing around Los Angeles working mostly on music videos and indie films, and occasionally teaches makeup in Maine. 

Most recently, Katie was a contestant on the fourth season of the sfx makeup show "Face Off" on the Syfy Channel.

 

In her free time she enjoys visiting the East Coast, theatre, costuming, photography, and running her Etsy store "You Remind Me of the Babe" which specializes in foam latex prosthetics, elaborate headdresses, and flower crowns.
